Women Issues

Working with women fuels my passion to help every woman connect with her truly authentic self. Navigating the world as a woman is full of extremes and complexities and it can feel heavy with expectations, social conditioning and ‘having it all’. Let me guide you through exploring these feelings and unlocking the most honest, unapologetic and true you.

Perinatal Mental Health

There is absolutely nothing in this world that can prepare you for the mental, emotional, and physical changes that a woman experiences during pregnancy and after giving birth. Every single piece of the person you were before has been altered in some way and this change can be a form of trauma for many women. Preconception, infertility, postpartum depression, physical birth trauma, sexual intimacy, body dysmorphia, loneliness, still birth, miscarriage, feelings of isolation, and general overwhelm are all-natural experiences that affect women every day and the world doesn't seem to talk about or acknowledge.
Well, I am here to talk, and shout, and cry about it with you, because it is a natural and normal part of being a woman and your feelings are valid and safe with me

Trauma Focused

In my work with victims of violent crime and traumatised populations over the past 15 years, I have learned that no two traumas are the same. In my experience, I know that there is no singular way to process trauma, and there is no timeline, but you can have help wading through it. I am here to stand with those that have experienced trauma and help them find a way to live and thrive in spite of it.

I am here to support the LGBTQIA+2 community. Whether through processing past trauma, current transitioning, family planning, navigating relationships, or general therapy, Sanamora is and will always be a safe place for anyone and everyone to connect with their authentic self.
